i am going to go out on a limb here and say that photographing wee ones in an open space is to their advantage. i am going to guess that this morning's parents will wonder how i can possibly say that after watching me sweat and chase after their little ones. When the open space is home base, the kids may not want to cooperate, but they are on their own turf. So, all i have to do is follow them around and wait for the moment that they forget that i am pointing a camera at them. Then, they play comfortably in their own space. 

i told this morning's parents, that if we release our expectations of what these photos should look like, we'll all be pleased. i have to say, i absolutely love the results. Little brother is turning two, hence his two balloons.
