If you haven't gathered from my blogs yet, my style is to kind of pose people, and then just snap up what happens. Posing is easier with seniors and adults. Kids have their own agendas. And that is totally okay in my book! i love their input and ideas. Even when it seems they aren't listening, capturing them as they are at this phase of life, is one of my greatest pleasures. See, i can tell them to "stand there, look here... smile!" But i would much rather their own beings shine through. And that's exactly what i got this morning!
We were posed, but the kids did their own thing. Especially in the black and white photo (see below). They weren't supposed to be in the photo, technically. They were doing their own thing- so, i zoomed out and just had to add them into the mix. It tells the story of what is going on in this family's world. It's an exciting time for this family. And i'm glad i got to snap up a few photos to commemorate this phase. :)
